Introduction:

Category Import/Export Extension by V Group helps sellers to Import and Export the categories and their attributes such as Meta Keywords and Meta Description through csv file. Sellers can import and export the category information such as Name, Path, Position, Is Active, URL Key, Description, Image, Page Title, Meta Keywords, Meta Description, Include in Menu, Display Mode, CMS Block, Is Anchor, Available Sort By, Default Sort By, Page Layout, Custom Layout Update, etc. Seller can also assign products to category by importing SKUs in csv file.

How to Use:

Import Category:

Steps to import the category:
  1. Login to Magento admin panel.
  2. Go to Category Import/Export.
  3. Click on Import Category.
  4. Click on “click here to download sample csv” link.
  5. Update the sample csv file.
  6. Browse and Upload the csv file.
Steps to Export the category-
  1. Login to Magento admin panel.
  2. Go to Category Import/Export.
  3. Click on Export Category.
  4. Click on “Click here to export Categories” link.
Steps to assign product to category-
  1. Login to Magento admin panel.
  2. Go to Category Import/Export.
  3. Click on Import Category.
  4. Click on “click here to download sample csv” link under Assign Product to Category heading.
  5. Update the sample csv file.
  6. Browse and Upload the csv file.
Steps to Export the category product-
  1. Login to Magento admin panel.
  2. Go to Category Import/Export.
  3. Click on Export Category.
  4. Select Category to Export products from the dropdown.
  5. Click on Export button
